How
do I begin my project with Kitchen Center?
Schedule an appointment with a designer to discuss your project,
and to review our portfolio and services. We’ll be glad
to answer your questions at that time. It’s helpful to bring
your room dimensions in order to give the designer a better sense of the
space and scope of the project.
Do
you come to the house?
It is recommended that you visit the showroom initially, however,
at some point a designer would visit your home. As part of our
Design Process, we visit your home, take measurements, provide
design consultation, and draw a preliminary design.
Do
you supply appliances?
Your designer can guide you in the selection of appliances that
work best with your budget, space, and lifestyle. We do not, however,
supply the appliances. We’re pleased to refer you to suppliers,
if needed.
How
long does the design process take?
It depends on many factors. If your project is planned for the
immediate future, we certainly try to accommodate your schedule.
After an initial meeting, your designer can have a preliminary
plan for you as soon as the next day; however a typical turnaround
is 3-5 days. Once the basic design concept is determined, we continue
to work with you to refine the layout. Working via phone, email
and fax expedites the process. Overall, the complete design process
typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the scope of the project
and your anticipated start date.
How
long does the actual project take?
Again, it depends on your particular project. A remodel project
of any size will include being without a kitchen for some period
of time, so it is helpful to plan ahead. Having a temporary kitchen
arrangement with a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven is
useful. An average project can take 6-9 weeks from start to completion.
Do
you provide a warranty on your installations?
Yes. Kitchen Center provides a 5-year warranty on all installations.
The products we use also include a significant warranty. Be assured
that in 5 or 10 years, if something needs attention, we will be
here to assist you.
