Sara Iborra, ASID, Designer

Sara, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Following graduation, she began her love of kitchen design during her employment at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Aspiring to design with Wood-Mode cabinetry and work on more intricate projects, she joined the Kitchen Center in 2002.

After completing a training course at Wood-Mode’s manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, Sara was named First in Class and won the Silver Scale Award. She designed for the Kitchen Center of Framingham until she and her husband relocated in 2003 to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where she joined a high-end firm that specializes in outfitting beach-front homes with Wood-Mode cabinetry. During this time, she furthered her education and credentials by passing the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam and becoming a member of ASID. She was named Salesperson of the Year in 2005, with her designs and completed projects published in several local magazines as well as being placed in competition for local home-builder awards. In 2008, Sara returned to the Kitchen Center of Framingham.

Jasmin Lee, Designer
